Terms of Court and General Information

• Terms begin, 1st Monday, Jan., March, May, July, Sept., & Nov.
• Grand Juries, 1st day of term, 9:30 a.m.
• Court convenes 9:30 a.m.; docket call at 10:00 a.m.
• Should a Term Day fall on a legal holiday, the Term Day will be on the following day.
• Local rules adopted pursuant to Virginia Code Section 8.01-4.
• All civil cases shall be set prior to and outside of Docket Call after praecipe is filed.
• Pendente Lite and civil motions heard on motions day set by the judge 804-693-1358.
