Memo Regarding Reciprocity from Commonwealth of Virginia, Office of the Attorney General

Concealed Handgun Permit Holders:

The only jurisdiction with which Virginia currently has reciprocity is the State of Tennessee. An offer has been extended to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania but they have not responded to date. There are also several jurisdictions that recognize Virginia permits even though the Commonwealth does not recognize theirs. I am providing a list of those jurisdictions below but must recommend that you contact any jursidiction to ensure that you have the most up to date information and comply with any restrictions.
